Socio-economic Cost Benefit Analysis
Do you want to highlight the socioeconomic and financial impact of your project? Then our CBA service is what you need. Decision-makers can use a socio-economic cost benefit analysis (CBA) to determine whether the benefits of a project or policy outweigh its costs, and whether it is economically viable. In addition to financial interest, socio-economic impact is increasingly important for making informed decisions. The socio-economic CBA provides a structured and objective method for evaluating projects by quantifying both economic and financial costs and benefits. For this reason, it is also included as the impact measurement method for various European subsidy schemes, such as the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Energy (CEF-E) and Transport (CEF-T and CEF-AFIF) innovative projects and Projects of Common Interest (PCI). Life Cycle Assessment
If you want to know the broad environmental impact of your project, product, or service, you need a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The European Union identifies LCA as the best framework for assessing environmental impacts. For various European and national schemes, (some form of) LCA is already being suggested as optimal tool for assessing the environmental impact of innovative projects. Our environmental experts can calculate the impact of your product or service across the full value chain, providing you with insights on various environmental impact categories, such as climate change, ecotoxicity, water, fossil and mineral scarcities, eutrophication and land use.
GHG calculation
If you are interested in discovering the climate impact of your product or project, our GHG calculation service fits your request. The reduction of GHG emissions currently plays an important role in many (inter)national innovation projects. More and more funding schemes, such as the European Innovation Fund, require detailed greenhouse gas emission calculations to be submitted as part of the proposal. Curious how much carbon emissions your project emits or will emit? Our calculation provides insights in the climate impact of your project. We will identify and model all GHG emissions during the full life cycle of your project and compare this with a suitable reference case so you can present the incremental impact of your project.
