Meet consultant

Solène Feron

As a consultant at EGEN, I help our clients advance their sustainability efforts. This means connecting them with suitable fundings, conducting environmental or innovation assessments and developing project proposals. I also keep a close eye on the evolving EU and national funding landscapes so our clients can make the most of emerging opportunities. 

I’m really interested in renewable energy, particularly green hydrogen, but I enjoy working across a combination of sectors and technologies. 

What I appreciate about EGEN is that I can apply my funding expertise to environmental initiatives and collaborate with clients dedicated to positive impact – this is very rewarding. Another aspect I value is the diversity of backgrounds of our team – we each bring unique perspectives, yet share the common goal of contributing to a better environment. 

Outside the office, you can often find me surfing the waves at Costa da Caparica or running along the river. I also enjoy exploring new food spots in Lisbon and discovering Portuguese specialties.
