Jorge Gonçalves

In my consultant role at EGEN, I am responsible for the assessment of opportunities to accelerate green innovations of clients. This includes multiple tasks related to EU funding applications, from drafting project plans to performing innovation and impact assessment studies.

I am part of the environment team, while keeping track of some overlapping topics with the energy and mobility areas, namely features that contribute to mitigate climate change. My areas of interest include the decarbonisation of the energy sector, waste management and EU policy affairs.

At EGEN I am able to work and learn with a very skilled and international team which shares the motivation to contribute to society’s sustainable development.

In my free time I usually spend time with friends and family and I enjoy playing padel, running, listening to podcasts and running while listening to podcasts.
